Bybit theft: FBI alert (2025)
The FBI's 26 February 2025 alert attributed the theft of virtual assets from Bybit on 21 February to North Korean TraderTraitor actors. It concerns stolen assets and their tracing, not a finding that Bybit's customers committed crimes.

In October 2023, Tether reported a 32-address USDT freeze involving Israel’s NBCTF. This was issuer action on that token, not all wallet assets or a criminal verdict.

Why it matters
First confirm that the report covers the correct address and network. Then distinguish an available result, unavailable data and a failed check. Finally review the categories and transactions that explain the score. A saved report is a snapshot of its scan time; reopening it or its PDF does not perform a new scan. An address connection alone does not establish common ownership, knowledge of an activity or wrongdoing. Scores from different providers cannot be compared directly without checking their methodology and coverage.
